When is conference week in Davos in 2027?

18 to 22 January 2027. Accommodation runs Saturday 16 to Saturday 23 January.

 

When should I book?

As soon as you can. Bookings for January start in March of the previous year, and most apartments in Davos Platz are taken by October.

 

What does a week in Davos cost?

Apartments from CHF 15,000 per week. Chalets for 6 to 12 guests outside Davos from CHF 23,000. Hotel rooms from CHF 45,000. Villas from CHF 60,000. All prices are per week and include taxes and service fees.

 

Why are the prices so high?

For one week of the year, demand for beds in Davos far exceeds supply, and owners price the week accordingly. We quote the market price and show you exactly what you get for it.

 

What is not included?

Transfers, drivers, hotel badges and private chefs are quoted separately, before you confirm.

 

Davos Platz or Davos Dorf?

Davos Platz if you are at the Congress Centre or on the Promenade every day. Davos Dorf if you want quieter evenings and a short shuttle ride. They are about 3 km apart.

 

Is a chalet outside Davos practical?

Yes, for teams. Our chalets are in Klosters or just south of Davos, about 25 minutes from the Congress Centre, and we can arrange a shuttle, quoted separately. They suit you less if you have early meetings in Davos Platz every day.

 

What is a hotel badge and do I need one?

A personal pass, issued by the cantonal police, for the hotels inside the security perimeter. You need one if your meetings are in those hotels and you do not hold the conference's own accreditation. We file the application, and the cantonal police decide on it.

 

How much does a hotel badge cost?

The official police fee is CHF 105. Secured hotels and event organisers add their own fees, so the total is higher. We quote the full price before you commit.

 

How do I get from Zurich Airport to Davos?

By car in 2 to 2.5 hours, by train in about 2 hours 40 minutes with two changes, or by helicopter in about 35 minutes to the Davos Stilli helipad. We arrange cars and the ground transfer from the helipad.

 

Can I drive in Davos during the week?

Only with difficulty. Much of central Davos is closed to traffic and parking is scarce. A driver or walking is simpler.
