Davos hotels during the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting: the full list

8 min read

This list covers 64 hotels in Davos and Klosters, from 2 to 5 stars, drawn mainly from the destination's own hotel listing. During the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting, 18 to 22 January 2027, rooms for registered participants have historically been allocated through the Forum's official logistics provider, Publicis Live. In 2026, four hotels were inside police restricted zones, and entering them required documentation from the cantonal police, such as a hotel badge.

How hotel rooms work during the Annual Meeting

Participant rooms. The Forum's 2013 participant guide named Publicis Live as its official logistics provider and said it handled hotel rooms for registered participants: one room per participant, a minimum of five nights and full prepayment. The 2015 guide described Publicis Live as the official logistics and production provider, with a desk in the Congress Centre. Current arrangements are communicated to registered participants and are not public.

Weekly stays. Hotels set their own terms for the meeting week. Rooms booked through us run Saturday to Saturday, 16 to 23 January 2027, so a two-day programme still means paying for the week.

Restricted-zone hotels. In 2026, Kantonspolizei Graubünden set five restricted zones. Four hotels were inside them: Kongress Hotel Davos and Hilton Garden Inn Davos (in the zone around the Congress Centre), Steigenberger Icon Grandhotel Belvédère and AlpenGold Hotel Davos. Anyone without Forum accreditation enters them with documentation from the cantonal police, such as a hotel badge, collected in person in Davos with the registered passport. The police fee is CHF 105 per badge; secured hotels and event organisers add their own fees. All other hotels could be reached without restriction. These are the 2026 rules. The 2027 order is usually published in December or January, and we will update this page when it is out. More detail: Davos security zones and hotel badges and hotel access.

Our room allocation

We hold a limited allocation of rooms at some of the hotels listed in Publicis Live's event-venue directory. For availability, send us a request through our contact form. Our hotel rooms start from CHF 45,000 per week, 16 to 23 January 2027, including taxes and service fees. Details are on our hotel rooms page.

How to read the list

Stars. The Swiss classification as shown on the davos.ch hotel listing. "Superior" marks a plus rating. "No star rating listed" means davos.ch shows no classification.

Distance. Straight-line distance from the hotel to the Congress Centre entrance at Talstrasse 49A, calculated from map coordinates. Walking routes are longer, and in 2026 parts of the Promenade near the Congress Centre were closed to pedestrians without accreditation.

Publicis Live's event-venue directory. A public list of 20 Davos venues, 19 of them hotels, for booking event space. A listing says nothing about room bookings.

Event rooms. "Event room for up to" gives the largest room's capacity where the hotel's own website states one. "Event space" means the hotel's website or davos.ch shows event rooms without a capacity.

Questions

Which hotels in Davos are inside the security zone during the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting?

In 2026, Kongress Hotel Davos, Hilton Garden Inn Davos, Steigenberger Icon Grandhotel Belvédère and AlpenGold Hotel Davos were inside restricted zones set by Kantonspolizei Graubünden. The 2027 list has not been published yet.

Can I stay in a Davos hotel during the Annual Meeting without a conference badge?

Yes. In 2026, 60 of the 64 hotels on this list were outside the restricted zones. Entering a hotel inside a zone needs documentation from the cantonal police, such as a hotel badge, not a conference badge.

Do Davos hotels take single-night bookings during the Annual Meeting?

It depends on the hotel, since each sets its own terms for the week. Rooms booked through us run Saturday to Saturday, 16 to 23 January 2027, and the Forum's 2013 participant guide set a five-night minimum for participant rooms.

How far are Davos hotels from the Congress Centre?

In Davos Platz, most hotels are within 1.5 km in a straight line. Davos Dorf hotels are 0.5 to 2.2 km away, and Klosters hotels about 8 to 10 km.

When should I book a hotel room in Davos for January 2027?

As early as possible. Hotel allocations are made in spring. See when to book Davos for January.
